Description
This type of roller blinds allows you to cover the roof window from the inside. They are one of the simplest and least technological roller blinds for an inclined window. Therefore, they are an affordable solution if you want to achieve the desired level of privacy and protect the room from overheating.
Their spring mechanism tightens the fabric to ensure that it does not hang down or become convex when the window is covered. Thanks to this mechanism, the fabric is wrapped around a roller.
There are two methods to choose the size of these roller blinds and adapt them to the size of your window.
According to the first method, you can browse the list of manufacturers of roof windows and the types of windows they produce. Most windows come with an identification plate. It will tell you what you need!
The majority of our customers use this method to select the roller blinds for their roof windows, choosing the window type and size of the blinds.
Alternatively, you can measure your window following a clear guide how to measure a roof window. Sometimes the identification plate contains no information on the window type or there is no such plate at all.
To cover the window, the lower rail needs to be inserted in the hooks installed on both sides. You decide how much of the roof window will be covered when installing those hooks.
